Can I use the spine with books from other publishers?
No. The In-Book™ system works exclusively with titles from our collection that incorporate the communication microchip.
How long does the battery last?
The spine battery offers 4 to 6 hours of continuous use depending on active effects. It recharges in under 2 hours via USB-C.
Are the effects the same in every book?
No. Each book has its own light, sound and vibration sequences, designed specifically for its content.
Is the spine water-resistant?
The spine has basic splash protection (IPX2). It is not suitable for immersion.
Can I listen with headphones?
Yes. The spine includes a 3.5mm jack and also offers a mode selector: music+effects or music+narration.
